RUGBY WORLD CUP TICKETS

Rugby World Cup 2011 tickets were on sale for about a year before the games.

The NZ 2011 World Cup may have come and gone but we have left this page in place as it might give you an indication of how the ticketing process and costing might work in 2015. Once actual 2015 ticketing information is available, we will post it here.

Sales dates:

Tickets for the official Rugby World Cup travel and hospitality packs were available from early 2010.

Venues Pool Packs, for tickets to each pool match at a chosen venue, or Team Pool Packs for tickets to follow each of a particular team’s pool matches were on sale from 27th April until 21st May 2010.

Those who applied for a Team or Venue pack, also had the option of applying for a Quarter Final Weekend Pack and/or the Bronze Final.

Individual match tickets were on sale from September 10th till October 8th 2010.

Final and Semi Final tickets were made be available by ballot to anyone who had bought either a Team or Venue pack, or individual tickets. The more tickets you bought, the more chances you got in the ballot.

Anything left over then went in sale through the official sites.
