RUGBY WORLD CUP TICKETS

Rugby World Cup 2011 tickets will most likely be hard to get due to demand. Semi Final and Finals tickets will be ballotted to people who also have other tickets.



More New Zealand Rugby World Cup 2011 ticket information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Ticket sales dates and prices for the World Cup in 2011 have now been set by the organisers, Rugby World Cup 2011 Ltd. According to them:

Sales dates:

Sales of tickets for the official Rugby World Cup travel and hospitality packs will happen early in 2010.

Venues Pool Packs, for tickets to each pool match at a chosen venue, or Team Pool Packs for tickets to follow each of a particular team’s pool matches will happen in April 2010 .

If you apply for a Team or Venue pack, you will also have the option of applying for a Quarter Final Weekend Pack and/or the Bronze Final.

Individual match tickets will go on sale late in 2010

Final and Semi Final tickets will be available by ballot late in 2010 or early in 2011 to anyone who has bought either a Team or Venue pack, or individual tickets.

Anything left over will go on sale after that.

For full up to date pricing, and to purchase tickets when available, you will need to visit the official sites of the organisers.

However, here are some examples of their published adult prices, in New Zealand dollars. So you can convert these prices, the approximate exchange rates on 20 Dec 2009 were: $NZ1 = US 0.711, EU 0.496, GBP 0.44, $AU 0.798
