Super 14 Rugby 2009/2010

16 weeks of matches, the final was held on 30 May 2009 between the Bulls and the Chiefs. The Bulls won by 61-17. Kick off for the 2010 Super 14 is on Friday 12th February 2010. The final will be held on Saturday 29th May 2010.  

Air New Zealand Cup Rugby

Kick off for the Air New Zealand Cup was on Thursday 30 July 2009. Games took place over 15 weeks, with the final being held on Saturday 7 November between Canterbury and Wellington. Canterbury won 28-20.

Heartland Rugby

The 2009 competition began on 29 August ended with the final on 31 October when Wanganui beat Mid Canterbury 34-13.
