Baypark Stadium is a unique sports, exhibition and conference centre set in the heart of the Bay of Plenty. Built in 2001, it is one of two home stadiums for the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union. Home of the Bay of Plenty Steamers and Baypark Championship Speedway, it also hosts rugby tournaments like the ITM Cup & Super 15.

A new Indoor Sports & Exhibition centre is currently being built (due for completion September 2011). It will have seating for 3000 people.

Located on Truman Lane, Baypark Stadium is only 10 minutes drive from Tauranga airport, close to hotels, motels, Bayfair shopping centre and main entertainment areas.

Baypark Stadium can hold up 17,700 people, including covered seating for 15,500.

General Information

A range of food & beverages are available for purchase inside the stadium grounds.

No alcohol or illegal substances are to be taken into the stadium. No hard chilly bins, cans, bottles or commercial food & beverages. Unsealed water bottles are permitted.

No offensive weapons or other devices that Stadium Management or Event Personnel deems to have potential to create injury, public nuisance or damage shall be permitted into the stadium.

There are three disability parks located at the top of the public car park, on the concrete area adjacent to Gate 2.
Uncovered wheelchair seating is located along the western side of the stadium in front of the Corporate Box area. Wheelchair toilets can be found in blocks A, F M, N and inside the Events Center.
